Happening at the Ranch | July '20
As you all know God put the vision of Rehoboth Ranch into action four years ago. Through the generosity of many of you, the dedication of our board of directors, and Gods amazing love much has been accomplished. There have been major improvements to the lodge as well as the grounds over the last few years. The most noticeable changes are the addition of the chapel and the new pole barn. God provided everything we needed to build the barn from stuff right here on the property. The guys had a really good time helping with this, and the end result shows it. We will continue to make improvements to the property as new residents’ cycle through. It is really awesome to get to watch God provide these men with a sense of purpose as they open up and get involved with what is going on at the ranch.
COVID-19 slowed us down a bit. We were forced into a two-month quarantine. During that time our numbers were fairly low. We only had four guys on site. However, we were still able to come together and continue some sense of normalcy. We are glad that is over, and we are able to reopen the doors and begin bringing in new faces. Just this month we have added five new residents. We know that God has brought these men here for a reason. We just pray that God will penetrate their hearts and minds and work through everyone at the ranch to reach these men. It is our prayer that we shine the light into all of the dark areas of their lives and that Jesus is seen as their true Lord and Savior.
You may ask what can I do? The most important thing anyone can do is pray. Pray for the residents, staff, board members and anyone involved here at the ranch. Second, if you see any of these people love on them and encourage them. Speak into their lives and share what Jesus has done for you. We encourage all of you to become actively involved in what is going on here. Stop by and spend some time with the guys and check out the work they are doing. Lastly, look over the list in the “Opportunities to Serve” page. If you feel led to help in any way we would be appreciative.
We want you to know that we are praying for you as well. It is only through God provoking a desire in your heart that you are a part of this ministry. We are extremely grateful for that. We know you have struggles just as we do. That does not go unnoticed. Please let us know what is going on in your life, as well as specific areas we can pray for you. We are grateful for each of you and love you dearly.
